Patpong Bangkok Red Light District

Patpong is a district in Bangkok famous for its red light district, as a main sex industry in Thailand. The Patpong area is a couple of blocks between Silom and Suriwong Roads, just down from the Sala Daeng Skytrain Station and is home to the city's most popular and renowned night market, many fine shops, restaurants, five star hotels and the main draw of all, some of the city's most boisterous nightlife. If you're visiting Bangkok, or are lucky enough to live here, you'll know that the main attraction is the area's world class bars.

Patpong is an entertainment district in Bangkok, Thailand, catering mainly, though not exclusively, to foreign tourists and expatriates. While Patpong is internationally known as a red light district at the heart of Bangkok's sex industry, the city in fact has numerous red-light districts that are far more popular with Thai men. A busy night market aimed at tourists is also located in Patpong.

When people talk about Bangkok night markets, there is nobody who does not know Patpong. It is a paradise for tourists who like to buy cheap souvenirs before leaving Thailand. The challenging thing for vendors and buyers is to bargain wisely. The lowest offer you can get depends on how much you can use your talent to negotiate.

Many kinds of souvenirs are sold along the street, such as hand-made products, carved woods, home decorations, etc. Products with fake brand names are most popular in this Bangkok night market. They can range from small things to big things, such as earrings, copies of DVDs and CDs, belts, sunglasses, T-shirts, bags and suitcases which are given the sturdy slap test!

Patpong Nightlife
Patpong Nightlife can't be seperated with Agogo bars, Beer bars, BJ bars, Discos, Fetish bars, Karaoke bars, Massage, Nightclubs, Pubs, ST bars, and so on.

In Patpong Soi 2, close to the Foodland Supermarket is Club Electric Blue, the most popular of all of Patpong's agogo bars. Owned and run by Westerners with long experience managing bars, Club Electric Blue makes a point of creating a comfortable setting for the girls and customers.

Other popular bars with pretty ladies on the premises include King's Castle 1 & 2, Queen's Castle II and Camelot's Castle. These bars are next to each other in the middle of Patpong Soi 1 and can get very busy. These particular bars are part of the King's Group of Bars, a group of some 15 odd bars owned by the same group. This group pledges that customers will not have any problems in their bars, always good to know if you are new to Patpong and entering such bars makes you a little nervous.
